Hamdi Salihi (born 19 January 1984 in Shkodër, Albania) is an Albanian football player who at present plays for D.C. United in Major League Soccer. He in addition plays as a striker for Albania national football group. He first began his football profession at his hometown club Vllaznia, where he was the number one goalscorer for the Albanian alliance. Following awing the Greek club of Panionios he marked for the Athens crew however following playing just 6 recreations, Salihi came back to Albania where he marked for Tirana. In 2007 he united the Austrian crew of Ried, where he scored 37 objectives in 2 years, then marked for Rapid Vienna.
The second universal objective of Salihi went in Sweden, when he scored for Albania in the final match of the FIFA 2010 World Cup Qualifiers. Albania lost 4–1. Not Sweden or Albania met all demands regarding the FIFA 2010 World Cup.
